OttawaMontreal.taxi and the Ottawa Montreal Taxi app collect only the information needed to handle booking requests, reply to messages, process payments, and review driver applications.

Information we collect

Depending on the form you use, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup address, destination, trip date, free-form message, primary work city, experience, availability, licence class, vehicle details, and certain payment details transmitted during checkout.

How we use information

We use this information to contact you, organize a ride, process or confirm a payment, review a driver application, follow up on service requests, and respond to messages sent through the site or app.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with technical service providers when needed to operate the service, including Supabase for data hosting and form processing, Stripe for payments, and Formspree as a fallback for some forms if JavaScript is disabled.

Security and transmission

Information is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections when you use the site or app. Access to this information is limited to the people and providers who need it to operate the service.

Retention

We keep booking requests, driver applications, and payment-related records only for as long as reasonably necessary for customer follow-up, recruiting review, customer support, record keeping, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of the information you submitted by contacting us directly. We will handle those requests subject to our legal and accounting obligations.
